Claude workshop FAQ: what hosts ask before booking.

Everything hosts and sponsors ask about Claude 101, Claude 201, and the Claude 101 + 201 Series, from laptops and recordings to flyers and RSVPs.

The workshops

Who are the Claude workshops for?

Groups whose people want to use AI in their day-to-day work, in any industry: associations, brokerages, chambers of commerce, peer groups, company teams, and client events. Claude 101 suits complete beginners; Claude 201 suits people who already use Claude or have just taken Claude 101. You book the session and invite your people; SN3 teaches it.

What’s the difference between Claude 101 and Claude 201?

Claude 101 is a fully beginner-friendly introduction: participants set Claude up and teach it who they are, with custom instructions, memory, Projects, and styles. Claude 201 puts Claude to work: connectors to Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive; Projects for specialized work; Skills that package their expertise; and scheduled tasks that run on their own. Each workshop runs 90 minutes.

Can we book Claude 201 on its own?

Yes. Claude 201 works as a standalone session for audiences that already have Claude experience. If your group is new to Claude, start with Claude 101 or book the Claude 101 + 201 Series.

Can we book both workshops?

Yes. The Claude 101 + 201 Series runs both workshops, on the same day or on separate days. A sample same-day format: Claude 101 (90 minutes), lunch (30 or 60 minutes), then Claude 201 (90 minutes).

Do participants need AI experience?

Not for Claude 101. It’s built for complete beginners. Claude 201 builds on 101, so book it standalone only when your group already uses Claude.

Can you tailor the workshop to our industry?

Yes. The workshops apply to every industry, and we shape the examples and practice conversations around your group’s work so the exercises feel familiar from the start.

Format and logistics

Do you teach on-site or online?

Both. On-site, we teach at your venue. Online, we teach live on Zoom or Google Meet. The curriculum and the hands-on format are the same either way.

What does the host provide?

For on-site workshops, a venue and a screen. For every workshop, you invite the participants (and remind them to bring a laptop) and fund the session, either as the host or through a sponsor.

How many people can attend?

On-site, it depends on your venue: as many people as the room can seat comfortably with laptops open and a clear view of the screen. Online, tell us your expected headcount when you book.

Are the workshops recorded?

Online workshops are: every session on Zoom or Google Meet is recorded.

Do participants need a laptop?

Yes. The workshops are hands-on and participants build on their own laptops as we go, so everyone should bring one, charged. A phone helps too: Claude 101 includes setting up Claude on mobile.

Which accounts do participants need?

Claude 101 walks everyone through getting into Claude, and a free account is enough to follow along. Claude 201 uses features such as connectors, Skills, and scheduled tasks that may require a paid Claude plan; we’ll confirm what your participants need before the session. Claude 201’s connectors module uses Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, so participants need a Google account to connect their own. On company accounts, an administrator may need to allow the connection first. If your group works mainly in Outlook or Microsoft 365, tell us when you book.

How long is each workshop?

Claude 101 and Claude 201 each run 90 minutes. The same-day series takes about three and a half to four hours, including a 30- or 60-minute lunch.

Promotion and RSVPs

Do you provide flyers?

Yes. Every booking includes one print flyer and one social media flyer from the SN3 template, with your sponsor names and the class details. Your design team is welcome to create additional flyers.

Who invites the participants?

You do. Inviting participants is solely your responsibility as the host, and the invitation carries more weight coming from you.

Can SN3 handle RSVPs?

Yes, as an option. SN3 can set up the RSVP form, track registrations, and run the confirmation and reminder workflows. After the workshop, you receive the attendee list.
