A hands-on AI workshop

AI Employees: Build Your AI Team

Your group already has AI that knows them and works for them. In this workshop, they build AI employees that take whole jobs off their plate, with clear rules for what each one can touch and when a person signs off.

Who it’s for

For groups ready to build AI employees.

Groups that have finished Put AI to Work, or already have AI connected to their email, calendar, and files and are ready to go further.

What we cover

Six moves to your first AI employee.

90 minutes, built around your group’s tools and goals. On-site or online.

  1. 01

    Pick the role

Choose one repeatable job in the business and write it up like a job description: what it handles, what it needs, and what “done” looks like.

  2. 02

    Build the AI employee

Turn that job description into an AI employee with its own instructions, reference files, and the connections it needs.

  3. 03

    Chain the workflow

Link the steps so the AI employee goes from a starting point (a schedule, a request, a new file) to a finished result.

  4. 04

    Set the guardrails

Decide what the AI employee can access, what it can do on its own, and where a person reviews or approves before anything goes out.

  5. 05

    Test and review

Run the AI employee on real work, check the output, and tighten its instructions.

  6. 06

    Plan the team

Map the next roles to hand to AI, and how AI employees pass work to each other and to people.

What they leave with

Whole jobs off their plate.

Build Your AI Team relies on features such as custom assistants with their own instructions and files, app connections, and automated workflows. These are often limited to paid plans, so we’ll confirm what each participant needs when we scope the session.

  • An AI employee built for one real role in their business
  • A multi-step workflow that runs from trigger to finished result
  • Clear rules for what their AI employee can access and when a person signs off
  • A short list of the next roles to hand to AI, in priority order
How hosting works

You fill the room. We teach it.

You bring Build Your AI Team to your members, clients, or team. SN3 brings the curriculum and teaches it live. Here’s how a booking runs.

  1. 01

    Book the date

Choose on-site or online and a date that works for your group.

    At least two weeks ahead
  2. 02

    Promote it

We send you a print flyer and a social media flyer from the SN3 template, with your sponsor names and the class details. Your design team is welcome to make more.

    Two flyers included
  3. 03

    Fill the room

You invite your participants. Want help with the logistics? SN3 can run the RSVP form, tracking, and confirmation and reminder workflows, then send you the attendee list after the workshop.

    Optional RSVP support
  4. 04

    Teach it live

The SN3 Group teaches the session. Participants bring laptops and build on their own accounts as we go.

Host questions

Before you book Build Your AI Team.

Which workshop is right for our group?

Most groups start with Make AI Yours, even if some people already use AI, because everything after it depends on the context it sets up. Put AI to Work fits groups that already have that in place. Build Your AI Team is for groups ready to hand whole jobs to AI. Not sure? Tell us about your group in the booking form and we’ll recommend where to start.

Which accounts do participants need?

Make AI Yours walks everyone through getting set up, and a free account is enough to follow along with most tools. Put AI to Work uses features such as connections to email and files, reusable instructions like the voice guide, and scheduled tasks that may require a paid plan, depending on the tool. We’ll confirm what your participants need before the session. The connections module uses Gmail, Google Calendar, and Google Drive, so participants need a Google account to connect their own. On company accounts, an administrator may need to allow the connection first. If your group works mainly in Outlook or Microsoft 365, tell us when you book. Build Your AI Team relies on features such as custom assistants with their own instructions and files, app connections, and automated workflows. These are often limited to paid plans, so we’ll confirm what each participant needs when we scope the session.

Which AI tool do you teach on?

We teach primarily on ChatGPT and Claude, and also on Gemini and Copilot. Tell us what your group already uses when you book and we’ll build the sessions around it. If they have no preference, we’ll recommend one based on their work and accounts.

Do participants need a laptop?

Yes. The workshops are hands-on and participants build on their own laptops as we go, so everyone should bring one, charged. A phone helps too, since Make AI Yours includes setting up your AI on mobile.

Do you teach on-site or online?

Both. On-site, we teach at your venue. Online, we teach live on Zoom or Google Meet. The curriculum and the hands-on format are the same either way.
